This three day course is designed for those who are new to mindfulness teaching (or have some experience of leading mindfulness sessions), who wish to cultivate their knowledge, skills and confidence in teaching mindfulness.

You may be a yoga teacher or therapist who is aiming to add mindfulness to their repertoire; a school, college or university teacher who leads mindfulness sessions for students who wishes to build their skill and confidence; or a mindfulness practitioner who wishes to take their first step into teaching mindfulness.

The course will involve teaching and discussion on the role of the mindfulness teacher, an introduction to some key facilitation techniques (and some theory), and opportunity for each participant to give a talk on mindfulness, lead a meditation practice as well as an enquiry. There will be plenty of opportunity for feedback and discussion.

It is expected that participants will have a regular mindfulness practice and have completed at least an introductory 4, 6 or 8 week mindfulness course. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your options.

The course will be run by Michael Atkinson, Director of School of Mindfulness - an experienced professional teacher educator and mindfulness teacher.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
