Retreat Days

Our retreat days are open to everyone, and provide a valuable antidote to day-to-day stresses and busy weekends. Whether you are new to mindfulness meditation and just want to dip your toe in, or have some prior experience, you will find these days calming and energising.

Led by Michael Atkinson, Director of School of Mindfulness.

WORKING WITH STRESS

In this day retreat we will explore the causes, signs and symptoms of stress and how mindfulness practice can help us to manage it effectively. The day will involve plenty of opportunity for meditation, reflection, and discussion, and there will be breaks for walking and just being with yourself and others around this beautiful natural landscape.

A DAY OF SILENCE

In this day retreat we will explore the value of silence and how mindfulness practice can help us to cultivate the space and time in our lives to take time-out from our busy lives for rest and recuperation. The day will involve plenty of opportunity for meditation and reflection, and will be mostly in silence. There will be breaks for walking and just being with yourself and others around this beautiful natural landscape.
